Challenge 6 - Compilation

So I finally found the time (and mood) to clean up my drawings and upload them all in one bulk. This time without forgetting the compilation at the end. I will be putting off the next challenge as I know I will not have any time for the coming week.

Ideally I shouldn't be doing figure drawing only as part of a challenge... But at the same time tha main reason I created these challenges is to make me draw everyday, even if it's for 5 minutes.

Challenge 6 - Day 15

Played around with ink and a dried up brush. Took longer than I thought it would. I had to constantly put the brush into the ink jar if I wanted to get any of it on paper. Looks fun though. Especially because one does not have 100% of the outcome.

Challenge 6 - Day 14

There is nothing for this day :(

Challenge 6 - Day 13

My first official drawing with Autodesk's SketchBook. Didn't have the patience to completely finish it off though.

Challenge 6 - Day 12

I tried a different marker but it felt really awkward drawing with it

Challenge 6 - Day 11

I like these ones! 1 minute poses...

Challenge 6 - Day 10

Challenge 6 - Day 9

A few quick action poses..

Challenge 6 - Day 8

Slightly disproportional... Oops

Challenge 6 - Day 3

1 minute - 2 minutes

5 minutes
Once again Life Drawing from the Croquis Cafe. That 5 minute face will be giving me nightmares, it came out very very strange.. Sorry Miss Model...

Challenge 6 - Day 2

30 seconds

1 minute

2 minutes
Finally a male live model!

Challenge 6 - Day 1

10 seconds - 20 seconds - 30 seconds

1 minute - 2 minutes

5 minutes
So I decided to start off my 6th Challenge (figure drawing) as if it were a Life Drawing class, gradually moving to longer poses. For the end of this challenge I aim to  have drawings that are 1 hour or 2 hours long (or if I manage to make the time even longer). It would be nice to finish off with a full digital painting of a pose.

Challenge 4 - Compilation

And i have just realised that I have never published the compilation of my 4th challenge. Much digital art in this one.

Challenge 5 - Compilation

So here is the compilation. For some reason I thought I would  have less feet, but the number of them is not bad, which for me it means that I did not avoid them, which is good! I should pat myself on the back for a job well done.
But seeing them all together, I realize that although I drew hands from different ethnicities...they were done with a pencil. So no skin tone observation. That one is a fail.

So with this out of the way, onto the next challenge!

Challenge 5 - Day 15

Aaaaaand the last one for this challenge. Took about 1 hour to draw, wanted to go back to a bit of cross-hatching. Used mostly H and HB pencils with a bit of 2B here and there to bring out some shadows, going away from my usual usage of a 4B graphite. I swear it looks better on paper >_<

And with that, I am done!

Challenge 5 - Day 14

Yeap. It's just a baby hand for today. Being Sunday and all I got lazy and only did one drawing. Which, if I am honest, gave me hell as baby hands is a subject I am completely unfamiliar with so my lines may be a bit too harsh for it
